two months as dc at bagalkot

this is my first stint as dc. deputy comissioner also called collector in some other states is considered the prime civl officer post in a district.very responsible and at the same time with due exertions and favourable time a very memorable experience in the career of a civil servant.my most satisfying efforts in these two months(i reported on 7th july 2008)have been laying the foundation stone fot an air-strip with the publication of 4(1) preliminary notification under the land acqisition act and more so the publication of a list of all villages in the district with a map indicating the dryland availlable for industrialisation.
